Portobello Road Race 19/06/08
Adam Priestley is second to the lineA fine evening for a four mile canter along the prom and back. Well maybe a bit blustery for the first and last mile but not as cold as last year when gloves and scarves were manditory for spectators and optional for runners. Big thanks to Alan and his second year as race director and maybe if we all ask nicely he will decide not to take early retirement! Big thanks also to Jennie who is only really PRC by marriage and yet seems to keep the machinery well oiled behind the scenes, from pre-race labels to post-race accounts. It all seemed to go well from where I was standing. Thanks to all who turned up. Here are photos of some of the runners. Results here
