Birnham Hill Races, 7th and 8th March 2009

I have as yet been unable to coax a report out of Tony
Stapley (him being a shy and retiring creature) re his racing over the
weekend. He managed to complete not one but two of the Highland Boundary
Races being organised by Adrian Davis. The races, in Birnam, that part
of the world made famous by Shakespeare in his lighthearted romp MacBeth,
were well attended by a strong field despite the inclement weather.
Tony spent 48 minutes racing at Saturday's Birnam Hill
Classic, which was not enough action for him and so he felt inclined
to return the next day for the Deuchary Hill Canter where he spent a
further 2hrs 15 racing in the deteriorating weather. Puts a lot of us
to shame really. Well done Tony!
