Promathon 1/01/08

The first of January and beautiful, sparkling weather
filled the route with sunshine and blue skies.
Well no it didn't; it was very grey and drizzly but at least there wasn't
strong winds which made fast times possible. If you hadn't overdone
it the night before. There was a good strong turn out from PRC and as
Leo and I weren't running - both having seasonal bugs - we took some
photos which you can see below. Un-pre-arranged, Leo and I covered either
end of the race: I did miles 1 and 4 and he did 2 and 3. Bored of looking
at bland photos I might have tweaked the contrast a bit. Porty colours
are Navy and Gold like the sea and sand - not grey above grey!
Well done to all who braved the dull weather. See you next Wednesday.

Ian looking far too chipper.

Bert, whose moustache waxes and wanes with the cycles
of the moon.

Good to see at least one Porty on the front line.

Asleep or seeking guidance?

Is 112 doing that hair ironically?

Ian catching WJ

Ian got a beard for Christmas (Paul says a beard is for life, not just
Christmas)

Averaging faster than 5 minute miling John Newsom is number one.

Freya is number one girl.

Number one o/40, Brian C

Ian is first Porty

Some came dressed for the seaside.

That front row start may have been a bit hasty.
