SMOKIES SUCCESS 4/03/07
On a typically windy day Jill was the only Portobello runner among the 300 woman who made their way to Arbroath. However, she kept the Portobello flag flying by repeating her victory in the 2006 Smokies 10 mile road race. She had company for about the first couple of miles or so, but after that it was pretty well a solo effort. Her time this year in much more difficult conditions was almost a minute faster than last year.
